Michael G. Collins - Owner

Mike entered into the auctioneering business as it was something he did in his spare time "looking" for that treasure, buying storage units, going to sales, etc...  Something that was introduced to him as a child.  

Until now, Mike has been pretty active.  He has earned a bachelor's degree, master's degree and Ph.D.  He has been a professor and the head cross country and track coach at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho.  During that time he has had over 400 All-American, 12 national champions, a 2020 and 2024 Olympian and 2022 World Championship qualifier.  He is a full-time coach, so his auctioneering and the sales part of the business are things where he finds clients that he can help with these limitations, otherwise tries to guide them to others that may be of better service for them.  

He himself has been active in sports, going from high school to college athletics, into bike racing then triathlons and has qualified for the US national triathlon championships six times and has also completed three Ironman Distance Triathlons (2.4m swim, 112m bike, 26.2m run).

As he was getting more interested into the auction and estate sales business he ended up helping a friend liquidate much of his father's estate after passing away.  This might have been the final ignitor to see where this could lead.  Since then he has created his own LLC, has a business license in the city of Lewiston and is awaiting his Federal Firearms License.  He has also attended auctioneering school and received his certification in the summer of 2021.

Mike is also active in his community as a member of many different local boards and foundations, was elected 2013 to the Lewiston City Council, was re-elected in 2017 and has served at the city's Mayor since 2018.

Mike is married, has two "almost" grown children and a couple of four-legged friends.  In his spare time he enjoys fly fishing, primarily on the Selway and Lochsa Rivers of Idaho, reading and spending time with his family and occasionally a little poker in Nevada.

One core philosophy that can tell you all about Mike is that ethics and doing the right thing is extremely important to him.  He lives his life this way and will run his business the same.
